Who we are

WOOPR is a trading name used by the holder of ABN 40 319 255 624, an independent retailer of sealed Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game product operating from Sydney, New South Wales.

That ABN is the business you are contracting with, and it is the one to quote in any dispute. You can verify it at abr.business.gov.au.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures Inc. or GAME FREAK. All trademarks and card imagery belong to their respective owners. We resell genuine product; we do not manufacture or publish it.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send your dispatch confirmation, not when you pay. Until then either of us can cancel and you are refunded in full.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• the item is no longer obtainable from our supplier;
• a price or description was materially wrong (see below);
• we cannot verify the payment or delivery details; or
• the quantity ordered is inconsistent with personal collecting. We sell to collectors and players, and we reserve the right to limit quantities so stock is not swept up for resale.

Prices and GST

• All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.
• The price you see in the cart is the price charged. Postage is shown before payment.
• Prices can change at any time, but never after you have paid, once an order is placed, its price is locked, including for items sourced from Japan on a later consignment.
• A tax invoice is issued with every order confirmation.

Payment is processed by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number.

Sourcing and authenticity

Every product we sell is genuine, factory-sealed Japanese product, bought through established supply channels and imported with duties and GST paid.

We do not open, weigh, sort, search or reseal product. Boxes reach you exactly as they left the manufacturer.

Items badged Presale are sets that have been announced and allocated but have not yet landed in Sydney. They are paid in full at the time of order and dispatched on arrival, by the date shown on the product. Everything else on the site is sealed stock already on our shelf, and the handling and delivery windows shown at purchase are the ones we commit to.

Product photography shows the actual set being sold. Card images are illustrative of the set's contents and are never a promise of what is inside a particular sealed box.

Members programme

Membership is free. Joining is optional and you can leave at any time.

• A qualifying booster box earns one star. A qualifying pack bundle earns one fifth of a star. Accessories, single cards and bulk lots do not earn stars.
• Five stars completes a card and issues a $50 voucher, emailed to you automatically.
• Vouchers are valid for 6 months from issue, are single use, and are tied to your account.
• Stars expire 12 months after your most recent qualifying purchase. We email you a reminder one month and one week before that happens.
• Stars have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or combined between accounts, and are not property.
• Refunded orders do not have their stars clawed back. Vouchers earned through orders that are later refunded may be cancelled.

We may change or end the programme with reasonable notice. Vouchers already issued will be honoured to their expiry date. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is manipulating the programme, for example, ordering and refunding repeatedly to farm stars.

Discount codes

• One discount code per order unless a code says otherwise.
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Promotional codes may be limited to one use per customer, and may be withdrawn at any time before use.
• Where a discount applies automatically, it is applied at checkout and shown before payment.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the ACL applies, it wins over anything written here.

Subject to that, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited, at our option, to replacing the goods or refunding what you paid for them.

We are not liable for changes in the market value of trading cards. Card prices move, sometimes sharply, sometimes right after you buy. That risk is yours, and it is part of the hobby.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you place your order, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
